Railway Engineer (f/w/d)

Global Rail Group is a young but global and fast-growing company working in different domains of international Railway Infrastructure Management. Our focus is on bringing through best practices new technology and digitalisation to the railway industry in order to support the optimisation of the railway asset management.

• You analyse and work on solutions for the optimisation of the condition of the superstructure with your railway technical expertise
• You coordinate with your manager projects and jointly develop new project ideas and accompany them during its project phases
• You participate actively in developing and implementing new technology in the field of track maintenance
• You provide technical advice to the team during the course of the project with your railway know-how
• You are part of an international project team
• You take on personal responsibility and contribute to the development and positioning of an innovative consulting company

• University degree in the engineering disciplines
• Technical knowledge in one or more of the railway superstructure domains (rail, turnouts, ballast, track geometry, overhead line)
• Minimum of 6 year’s work experience in technical consulting, railway superstructure maintenance company (contractor) or civil engineering company
• Knowledge of calculations of railway superstructure favourable
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and, if possible, German
• International travel (approx. 20%)
• You have analytical thinking skills
• You strive to be solutions oriented
