Your role as Director

  • Actively managing the overall operations of the Global Rail Academy entity responsibility for the management of the company - includes both the operational business with P&L responsibility
  • International cooperation with partners
  • Management
    • Establish and manage budgeting and KPIs for the team
    • Coordinates the financial aspects jointly with the corporate headquarters
    • Establish and implement and forecasting, planning, and budgeting process for the Academy unit
    • Expansion, development & vision by proactively shaping the development and growth of the company, gain market share, create flexible and effective structures and processes and continuously shape the sustainable expansion of the company
    • Management responsibility (matrix and functional reporting lines) for employees, consisting of 30 people (in combination of matrix and traditional reporting), and you will develop, promote and motivate the entire team in close cooperation with the headquarters
    • Directs and coordinates the consistent implementation of company initiatives
    • You report to the C Level management in Vienna, Austria
  • Focus on courses development:
    • Lead the course program development with your team
    • Proactively coordinates and supports the course planning and trainer allocation throughout the budget year
    • Monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency
  • Focus on recruitment services:
    • Support the establishment of the industry specific recruitment services
    • Set up operating model for recruitment services
    • Execute the continuous improvements and refinement of the recruitment services

Your profile

  • Proven international experience of min. 5-10 years in managing position(s) and having worked abroad is a bonus
  • Bachelor in Business Administration
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • You are fluent in spoken and written German and English and a third language is a bonus
  • Experience in training organizations and publishing houses would be an advantage
  • Frequent international traveling
